A field manual for Fanadin
How Dreadmyst Online fits together, told through the game's own tables and formulas. Every number on this page comes from the imported game data or from the calculators this site uses, and where the data doesn't say, neither do we.
Chapter 01
Dreadmyst Online is played as one of four classes, levelled from 1 to 25 across the world of Fanadin. This site catalogues what's in the game files:
New players: the community's levelling guides walk through the first ten levels quest by quest.
Chapter 02
Each class starts with its own spread of the five attributes and its own spell list. Starting attributes don't change as you level; health and mana do.

Chapter 03
Strength, Agility, Willpower, Intelligence and Courage are the five attributes. The clearest record of what they
do is in spell formulas: each spell effect has a scale formula that can reference them
(Courage is written CUR there). The table counts how many class spells mention each attribute.
| Attribute | Paladin | Mage | Ranger | Cleric |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| STR Strength | 3 | – | – | – |
| AGI Agility | – | – | – | – |
| WIL Willpower | 1 | 7 | – | 8 |
| INT Intelligence | 2 | 7 | 1 | 7 |
| COU Courage | 4 | 4 | 1 | 2 |
splvl+(((INT+(CUR/2))*110)/(105-(splvl*5)))
Intelligence counts in full and Courage at half weight; splvl is the spell's rank.
Each spell page has a calculator that plugs in your attributes.
Attributes may also feed derived stats such as critical chance or regeneration, but those calculations aren't in the data this site has, so they aren't described here.
Chapter 04
The level cap is 25. Health and mana rise every level from the class tables shown above, with a noticeably larger step from level 20 to 21.
Experience is also spent. The game client's character panel lets you buy attribute points and spell ranks with experience: an attribute point costs more the more points you've already put into that attribute, and a spell rank costs more the more spell ranks you've bought in total. The exact costs are computed by the game and aren't in the data files, which is why the build editor doesn't enforce a point budget.

Chapter 06
8 dungeons in the data: 4 for groups and 4 solo. All of them require level 25. 7 of them need a key item to enter.
| Entrance | Level | Players | Key |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kandorys Undercourse | 25 | Solo | Undercourse Key |
| Decrepit Tower (Group) | 25 | Up to 4 | Tower Key |
| Abandoned Barracks | 25 | Solo | Keys to the Barracks |
| Desecrated Altar | 25 | Solo | Keys to St. Revere |
| Telamont's Sanctuary | 25 | Up to 4 | Sanctum Key |
| The Lower Garrison (Group) | 25 | Up to 4 | None |
| Salmaster's Descent | 25 | Solo | Salmaster's Key |
| Telamont's Demiplane | 25 | Up to 4 | Demiplane Key |
Chapter 07
Generated gear rolls one of six quality tiers, shown as the first word of its name and by its colour. Higher tiers carry more gem sockets and scale affix stats and weapon damage harder. The multipliers are the ones this site's trade and item calculators use.
| Tier | Most sockets | Affix stats | Weapon damage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Junk | – | 1× | 1× |
| Normal | 0 | 1× | 1.03× |
| Radiant | 1 | 1× | 1.125× |
| Blessed | 2 | 1.33× | 1.2× |
| Holy | 3 | 1.66× | 1.26× |
| Godly | 4 | 2× | 1.49× |
Named items (quest rewards, drops) use the same colours. Junk tier doesn't appear on generated gear in the data. Browse named items.
Chapter 08
Most gear is generated: a base item (52 of them, such as Cap, Coif or Axe) at a level from 1 to 25, a quality tier and an affix. Names read [Quality] [Base] of the [Affix], for example Godly Cap of the Atlas. The data holds 7,145 affix entries, each with a level range.
An affix lists base values. On an item they're multiplied by the stat type, half the item level (at least 1), the slot and the quality tier. Chest, main-hand and ranged items get the full amount; other slots less:
1× Chest, Main Hand, and Ranged
0.65× Head, Legs, Feet, Hands, and Off Hand
0.5× Necklace, Waist, and Ring
| Tier | Chest | Head | Ring |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | +38 | +24 | +19 |
| Radiant | +38 | +24 | +19 |
| Blessed | +50 | +32 | +25 |
| Holy | +62 | +40 | +31 |
| Godly | +75 | +48 | +37 |
Generated items can also carry an affix score word that raises their affix stats. This site records it on trade listings:
±0% No word
+10% Fine
+20% Pristine
+30% Superior
+40% Exquisite
Chapter 09
Weapon damage grows with level and quality, then gets a weapon-type and a material multiplier. Metal weapons run Bronze to Titanium and wooden ones Aspen to Hickory, sharing the same seven steps:
| Step | Metal | Wood | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Bronze | Aspen | 1× |
| 2 | Steel | Elm | 1.1× |
| 3 | Mythril | Cherry | 1.2× |
| 4 | Emerald | Black Walnut | 1.3× |
| 5 | Crystal | White Oak | 1.4× |
| 6 | Diamond | Hard Maple | 1.5× |
| 7 | Titanium | Hickory | 1.6× |
| Weapon | Swing time | Damage |
|---|---|---|
| Axe | 2.0s | 1× |
| Bow | 3.0s | 1× |
| Mace | 2.0s | 1× |
| Sword | 2.0s | 1× |
| Staff | 2.0s | 1× |
| Dagger | 1.5s | 0.5× |
| Wand | 2.5s | 0.75× |
Worked example from the site's damage formula: a level 25 Godly Diamond dagger deals 109 weapon damage.
Chapter 10
Every stat an item or affix can carry, with the short name used in trade listings and how many affixes can roll it.
Chapter 11
The trade board is a noticeboard, not an auction house: players list what they're selling, and buyers contact the seller in game to make the trade.
